As the year draws to a close, so too does this blog. Although I still have recipes left to post, I have other places to publish them and other things I want to write about. When I experimented with broadening the scope of Tomayto Tomahto, to include topics beyond food, it seemed to lose its purpose and wander without direction. My solution, rather than simply abandoning it and leaving you hanging, is to draw a line in the sand and start fresh.
I will leave this site up for the foreseeable future, as there are many other sites that link to its various pages. There is also an ebook in the works, containing all the recipes from this site, but in a condensed, more portable format. Look for it in mid 2013, and subscribe to my Facebook page for more news!
So, while this is the end of Tomayto Tomahto, it is just the beginning for me. I have exciting new projects in the oven (both literally and figuratively) and will be announcing them soon. I hope you’ll be as supportive of my new efforts as you have been of this blog for, as I walk away, I hope to take with me the many wonderful friendships it has brought me.
