Apologies, first of all, to any US readers who are in pumpkins up to their ears by now. Here in the UK, the season comes upon us more gently.
For some weeks now, with booking Nutcracker tickets high on my to-do list, I’ve had ‘visions of sugar plums’ dancing in my head.
